What's the best way to spend a perfectly gloomy October afternoon in Glasgow? A trip to the Necropolis of course!
The necropolis is a Victorian cemetery full of gorgeously Gothic architecture which first opened in 1833.
It's adjacent to the equally stunning Glasgow Cathedral and offers some great views of the city.
Nearby is the supposedly haunted Glasgow Cathedral House Hotel.
As you can imagine there's lots of stories about the necropolis being haunted. People have reported seeing a lady in white at night and many claim to have witnessed statues moving their facial features and turning their heads as people walk past.
It was eerily quiet but in a very calm and peaceful way. No supernatural encounters that day!
I already love the city of Glasgow and this trip has made me love it that little bit more.
